WAHM: 1000’s of Work At Home Jobs – A Roundup Of Some Of The Best Work From Home Sites

WAHM Jobsite RoundupHey Mama, are you trying to find a job that you can do from home, but are a bit daunted by all the options? Are you unsure where to find quality jobs vs. getting caught up in garbage and scams? There are now tens of thousands of work from home jobs out there and there are dozens of great places to find them!

The following is a simple list of 4 sites that will give you 100s of listings each and that have a good reputation for providing decent job postings:

LinkedIn – If you are serious about getting a work from home / remote job, you need to create a way to legitimize yourself and get found. If you do not already have an account on LinkedIn, get one. Then setup your profile and resume. Lastly, start looking for jobs. Just go to the Jobs link and type in a search like – Remote Jobs, Work From Home Jobs, or Remote + the city you live in.

Rat Race Rebellion – Silly name, but these guys do a great job of vetting out most of the junk and finding jobs that you and I would want to do. I have already applied for a few jobs myself this past week (that pay $18 or more per hour).

The Penny Hoarder – A similar site to my own, but they have a whole load of people working for them, so they list hundreds of jobs throughout their posts.

Remote.com – Someone got smart with the name on this one! Mostly Tech and Professional level work.

Let me know if you find a great WAH Job!

I use these sites to pull out the best jobs each week to post onto my Work From Home Moms Group.

100’s of jobs at Rat Race Rebellion

I have been blessed by a friend who passed me one simple link. A link to a site that has been vetting and making connections with real companies that provide real, work from home, in your PJs, with your children playing quietly type jobs. Companies like Amazon.com, American Express and LionBridge are just a few. For those that just want to move onto the jobs, here is the link: Rat Race Rebellion. I recommend signing up for the email newsletter.

For those that would like a little more information first, here is an overview of what is available on the site.

Types of jobs available include: Accounting, virtual admins, blogging, call center and customer service, teaching and education, healthcare, legal, medical transcription, mystery shopping, technical, translation, web testing, editing, and writing.

Companies include:  Pizza Hut, Amazon.com, LionBridge, American Express Travel, Intuit, PricewaterhouseCoopers, American Airlines, Crushable, Apple, Best Western Hotels, CenturyLink, Cruise.com, Hilton, HSN, Blackboard, MySQL, About.com, Textbroker, and Yahoo. There are a few 100 more.

The two areas that interested me most when I went to the site is the listing of legitimate Mystery Shopping Companies and the listing for all the corporations that have work from home call centers. These I have looked into a little more than the other areas.

If you click on the link on the upper left corner –¬†Today’s Screened Job Leads – you get exactly that (with some ads throughout the page as that is how they make their money).

Obviously, you still have to double-check anything you would apply to. These guys really appear to be doing their research, but they can make mistakes.
